What is the Athari Group Accelerator?
Our program is a 12-week accelerator for idea-stage nonprofits. Accepted members become part of a cohort that meets weekly for workshops and various forms of group collaboration. Each member is also assigned a mentor who will provide personalized guidance for the duration of the program. Our members are given one-on-one support by Athari Group leadership, networking opportunities with successful nonprofit founders, a rigorous course load of assignments, including a final assessment in the form of a sample grant proposal, and an opportunity to deliver a pitch for up to $5,000 in seed funding.
Are all aspects of the Athari Group Accelerator free?
Yes, the Athari Group accelerator program is 100% free.
How does Athari Group offer seed funding to its graduates?
Each cohort member has the opportunity to pitch to Athari Group’s founders for an investment of up to $5,000. Seed funding offers will differ based on the needs of each organization.
Do you accept applications from U.S.-based nonprofit organizations only?
We accept applications from nonprofit organizations based anywhere, globally. The Athari Group accelerator program is conducted virtually - this includes all workshops, mentorship, and modes of communication. You do not need to have a registered nonprofit to apply.
When will I hear back after my application?
Applications open every April. Our goal is to notify selected applicants within 4 weeks from the program start date.
